These applications have been developed by Mike Gilchrist and others at NIMR and previously at the Gurdon Institute in Cambridge, supported by the Wellcome Trust.

Xenopus full-length clone database, and other EST resources, based on EST clustering and alignment with the geneDistiller algorithm. Other species include: Caenorhabditis elegans, Ciona intestinalis and Dictyostelium discoideum.

In situ gene expression image database, with image localisation, and data retrievable by expression pattern as well as gene.

Database search engines for retrieval of gene data (images, literature, names) on the basis of sequence similarity.
